I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.
Artist's Description
Street II depicts a city street with buildings, sidewalk, doors and windows. The hatching is used for shading and the dark of the street was done with heavy amounts of acid being applied to the copper plate. When inked the plate was treated delicately to not remove all the street's color while bringing out the details of the buildings.
About Mike Rhineheart
My creative career began as a teenager carving designs in leather to adorn saddles and horse gear. The more experience I gained, the more I used my own original designs. As an adult, I attended Ventura College (Ventura, CA) and received Associate's degrees in oil painting and printmaking. Currently, I reside in Port Hueneme, California, with my loving wife and son. I create daily in my studio, at the local coffee shop, or at the south-facing beach near the Hueneme Pier. I enjoy working with pastels, watercolors, acrylics and color pencil. I also use printmaking, oil painting, mosaic, collage and sculpture to render my creative ideas.
