Katherine Berlin was a Connecticut artist who resided in East Hampton. She enjoyed watercolor and pastel painting. Notably she painted historic buildings in the community. She has helped many civic organizations raise funds through her work. Many of these works have been made into limited edition prints.
Many of Katherine's paintings of East Hampton buildings are part of the Chatham Historical Society Museum's permanent collection. The Rathburn Library in Colchester also has one of her paintings in their permanent collection. The East Hampton Rotary in conjunction with the East Hampton Parks and Recreation Department chose her rendering of the Sears Pavilion at Lake Pocotopaug to be immortalized in granite.
