"Sunrise Slumber"

... Just after daybreak
on the shores of Jekyll Island,
large pieces of driftwood as well as whole trees rest on the sandy beach at low tide. The ocean has receded to reveal these sleeping giants until the tide comes back in. A warm golden glow casts orange and gold colors onto the wet sand. Beautiful clouds decorate the eastern horizon on this interesting coastal scene. Saint Simons Island lies across the bay and the marsh is just to the west of this interesting beach. Also known as Roots Beach to the locals... Jekyll Island, South Georgia.
