Artist's Description
After the sun has dipped below the horizon there is a brief moment when a pinkish orange glow illuminates the gritstone rocks on Stanage Edge in the Peak District.
The light becomes very subtle, just for a minute or so, and then the flatness of the descending darkness takes over.
About Andy Astbury
I am a full-time Natural History and Wildlife photographer from Cheshire, in the North West UK. As well as taking photographs I teach photography at all levels and also specialise in digital workflow tuition and colour management. My passion is really for landscapes and seascapes together with macro photography and my beloved Norwegian Sea Eagles.
