Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. Artist's Description
This is 11 a.m. on July 15 and I am hiking on a section of the Lake Superior Hiking Trail that follows Lake Superior on the beach for a nice stretch. You see the island you walk by, and probably out onto for a better view, as you head west down the beach. There are some red osier dogwood blossoms in the foreground by the creek flowing into Lake Superior. A beautiful morning for a hike with my dog, Toby. :)

I am an outdoor gal, having lived in Hovland, Minnesota my entire life. I love doing anything outdoors. I have always been interested in art, photography and wildlife. They all work well together. Over the years I have had a good many up close and personal experiences with most of the wildlife up here. Sometimes I had a camera, sometimes not. Some got pretty intense. But, they all ended well. My dog, currently a golden retriever named Toby, goes with me on almost all of my expeditions to find something photo worthy. He is a bird dog, for sure. But, camera season lasts all year long. I like to take photos to show the beauty of nature as it really is....as I see it. I don't feel a need to use Photoshop to do a lot of enhancing...
