About Carol VonBurnum
Carol Joanne VonBurnum was born in 1952. She was raised near the small town of Ulysses, Kansas and is still living there. While Carol is largely self-taught, she has been under the tutelage of other professional artists and teachers. She also studied art and design in several colleges in Arkansas and Kansas. She works with the aide of an extensive collection of references, which she has accumulated over forty years. This allows her to recreate still lifes and florals. Her subjects bring wide acclaim from collectors due to her accuracy of detail and delicate brush control.
