Artist's Description
Note to would be watercolorists, if your doodling, start with a clean sheet. I started out with a long, elegant stroke to suggest a sotol blossom and then went on to try and work thru how I should paint my wife crossing Tejas Creek using the same scrap of rough watercolor paper and ended up with a long, skinny watercolor sketch that deserves better than relegation to the paper box. A wonderful moment in the Texas High Country.
