The surface of the ocean is a thin border between two amazing worlds. I love to swim, dive and sail here. The Caribbean and Mexico have left their mark.
A lot of my newer work is on cut out relief panels. This is cool because I put a float frame behind the panel. The effect is 3D with its shadows behind it on the wall.
My background is in commercial art. Iíve been lucky enough to have survived lots of layout, design, illustration, and art direction with most of my mind still intact. This history has taught me a lot, and for that Iím truly grateful.
Over the years Iíve created a number of genres in my fine art career. They have all been influenced by my life experiences and interests. Iím fortunate to have had a variety of experiences with Sailors, Horses, Cowboys, Indians, and Truck Drivers. Iíve also lived in places like Salt Lake City, Chicago, England, Anacortes, Washington (on a sail boat) and currently Medford, Oregon.
