I am first and foremost an artist. Always have been. I drew cartoon characters as a child, designed logos as a teenager, and studied interior design as an adult. I have since turned my sights on photography. I picked up my first SLR in 2005 and fell head over heels in love with film and the black & white darkroom. There is something magical about the way an image is "born" as it swims in the developer. I find the darkroom is a place where I can truly lose myself. In 2007 I purchased my first digital SLR (also a Nikon) and have since developed skills in digital post processing.
