This is a fantastic shower curtain. I owned at one time a 1928 American LaFrance almost identical to this one.Loved that fire engine and this great representation is such a joy as a reminder of the one I owned. Nee dmore like this one

Love this shower curtain! It’s brightened our guest bathroom beyond words. We were in Monet’s garden in 2005 and it brings a smile to my face every time I go in there.

This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things. The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!
Thales of Miletus (624-546 BC) was a pre-Socratic Greek philosopher, mathematician, astronomer, the first identifiable scientist and one of the Seven Sages of Greece. Thales attempted to explain natural phenomena without reference to mythology and was tremendously influential in this respect. Thales' rejection of mythological explanations became an essential idea for the scientific revolution. In mathematics, Thales used geometry to solve problems such as calculating the height of pyramids and the distance of ships from the shore. He is credited with the first use of deductive reasoning applied to geometry, by deriving four corollaries to Thales' Theorem. As a result, he has been hailed as the first true mathematician and is the first known individual to whom a mathematical discovery has been attributed. He is reported to have predicted a solar eclipse in 585 BC, and tried to explain earthquakes.
