The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Although this painting admirably captures what one imagines is the terrifying experience of a sea-battle (this was famously the last sea-battle of the age of sail) in reality it was fought with the moored Turkish and Egyptian ships and the Allied ships almost alongside each other - perhaps even more terrifying!. On his first voyage after joining the Royal Navy, my great-grandfather found himself on board the second ship-of-the-line to enter the harbour, HMS Albion.
