My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Artist's Description
This is the last (for now) painting having the Dacian Dream Catcher as subject. It is a big painting, with a lot of texture, figuring a lot of creatures (the main one being a headless woman) and critters and a Dream Catcher of a particular form, not very traditional. Lots of sexual, freudian and other weird suggestions and interpretations possible, with an orange - blue dominant. The floating figure in the right corner of the painting is a self-portrait.
About ITI Ion Vincent Danu
I am a Canadian visual artist, born in Sibiu, Transylvania, Romania. I loved to draw as an infant and between 14 and 18 I was an "apprentice artist" at the Art High School in Sibiu. Then life took over and for about 20 + years art was just an occasional delight... I've returned to my first love, drawing, painting, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, were I've immigrated with my family in the nineties. Since 2003, I'm a full-time professional artist... I paint mostly in watercolor and acrylics but I cannot stop myself experimenting with all kinds of other themes, materials and styles (The art dealers say this is not good but what the heck!?) I've learned to take pictures since I was 11-12 years old and a camera is always somewhere near. I use...

Powerful symbolism and bold colors and textures, Ion! I like your "no holds barred" approach! v/f
ITI Ion Vincent Danu replied:
Thank you, Steve! Some told me I used some cabalistic symbols (I had the slightest idea!)
Dean Harte

ITI Ion Vincent Danu replied:
Thank you very much for your attention, Bob! Sorry I reply so late...getting old-tired, dog tired, boss! as the big fellow from The Green Mile was saying...
Sharon Burger
Brilliant work Ion, your colors are so strong and vibrant. I'll miss the Dacion dream catcher, I'll favorite it so I can return.
ITI Ion Vincent Danu replied:
Many thanks, Sharon1 this is my big Dream catcher (a 36 x 24 inches! I usually work on 9 x 12!) The colors are more balanced in the original...not easy to reproduce paintings this big with modest means...
Phong Trinh
