The weather is in such flux. Warm then cold then repeat the cycle. In this image, the pine cones have started to open because of the warmer weather the sap even started to run. Then zap! Old Man Winter stepped in to show us that Winter is far from over. The sap has frozen in place like frozen sugar crystals. At the base of the image, there is a lonely, young Flicker with a drop of water on the end of it's nose. He better shake that drop off before it freezes.

I am a 66 yr. old mother of 4 and grandmother of 2 and have been married to the same wonderful man for 38 years. I have been photographing images since I was 14 and my only camera was a brownie starmite. I love what the digital age has done for photography, no film and no developing except with my own software and that part of the process, I like immensely.
I especially like to photograph all aspects of nature, landscapes and animals, macro to wide angle and my current cameras are a Canon 7D, and Canon 6D. I keep a favorite lens on each one of them so that I can just grab what I need when there is something that I want to photograph.
I also love photoshop and do a lot of composite and texture work. The creativity of post processing...
