The Brodie helmet started it's life in world war one and was used by other troops of the British Empire and by the USA army. It was known by various nicknames as the shrapnel hat, Tommy hat, tin hat and as the doughboy helmet in the United States. It was used in world war two by various forces and unbelievably is still in use today and until recently in Israel.
I love working in New Zealand as there is always something new to excite me. Learned the hard way with film B/W, colour negatives and slides and now love the freedom that digital cameras can give you.
As I am often several months behind when I start working on my pictures I am often surprised and excited at what I find. Each individual has to be adapted depending on the subject; sometimes they are nearly untouched and others have hours of creative changes to get them looking perfect.
I can also take very good pictures of properties and other real estate.
