"The Broad Side of a Barn" was taken some years ago, January 2008, somewhere in Pennsylvania, on a cold and snowy afternoon. It was treated to many edits in many programs. I've worked on it and given up on it more times than I care to admit, but something always pulled me back. I've gone pretty close to the edge on this one, color wise, so if other peoples' monitors aren't calibrated to the standard sRGB, heaven only knows what you're seeing ... but I like it.

Welcome to Lois Bryan Photography and Digital Art at Fine Art America.
My images are based on the photographs I capture, mostly with Nikon cameras and lenses. Although my primary goal will always be to catch that perfect shot straight out of the camera, I also enjoy exploring the artistic and creative process as I work with Photoshop and other image editing programs. Still experimenting, still loving every minute behind the camera and still believing in the magic.
Be sure to follow my photographic and artistic doings and musings on my blog: http://1stangel.co.uk/loisbryan/
A few of my images are offered for selective rights-managed licensing ... if you see...
