Chalet Roome-Rigdon

My name is Chalet Roome-Rigdon. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I was first introduced to photography as a child. At age 10, I received my first camera, a Polaroid point and shoot. Through my school years, I continued with photography. In high school, I served on the school newspaper both as a journalist and as a photographer. I also took photography classes and was given special project assignments. I also spent a great deal of time in the photo lab at school not only working on my art, but, teaching as well. I'm mostly self taught and a vast majority of my images come from experiences, experimentation, and things I have learned over the years.
