As the artist, my goal was to do as little as possible and create the "idea" of the horse through use of white space and paint spatters. The freedom I give to the paint allows the horse to have (the illusion of) freedom of movement.

Ever since I can remember I have always loved horses and scribbled images of them whenever possible (at school while taking notes, or with my toe in the dirt, anyway I could). As a horse trainer and instructor at Serendipity Stables (www.serendipitystablessite.com), I am constantly surrounded by these beautiful creatures. Since I specialize in dressage it is especially important to have a strong understanding of the horses biomechanics and I use this knowledge in both my training and artwork.
