I was walking on a private doc to yachts on Newport Beach, across Balboa Island, right where a small section of the water is blocked off for children to pay in the nearby condominium. It was midway low tide and it always invites birds in for an easy catch of fish and other sea creatures that get to be seen easier through shallower waters. I was quite far but I was able to capture one egret just in the process of catching a fish and I snapped a shot of that. I took many photos that day.
