Life is a sacred journey and if we are fortunate enough to have a long life we will witness many cycles of earthly death and rebirth. Outer beauty will fade along the way but inner beauty may blossom in its place. Life on this planet seems to be mainly about cycles and change. But there is also this essence that is eternal and seems constant and ageless. Some call it the witness, others the guest. This essence, no matter what we call it, seems to me to be the very core of our being. In this drawing I am attempting to capture some aspects of the sacred feminine as I personally have experienced and continue to experience it in my life.
