born in rowan county, nc a looooooooooooooog time ago.wandered up and down the southern rr tracks and the yadkin river,during the steam era. joined the CBs at an early age, and finally got out of high school at 21. wound up in advertising agencies in richmond, winston, and greensboro. joined the industrial education center , the first community college in nc, in early 60s and wrote three associate degree programs, commercial art, technical illustration, and audiovisual production. some where in the 80s began working for the commerce dept. and new industry program. i wrote entry level scripts for industries moving into nc and those which were expanding. i shot and edited video, slides, and other visual aids to accompany the scripts....
