I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.

Anne-Elizabeth, your father was a very smart man - he knew that to become a great painter, you must look at great paintings. His skill was extraordinary, and it is wonderful he passed on his love of painting to you. I love your gallery and your heartfelt descriptions and titles. They speak to my heart.
Anne-Elizabeth Whiteway replied:
Thank you Anita. His paintings are all over our house. I am so thankful to have these treasures.

Richard Rizzo
Your dad was an excellent painter Anne, this is awesome. A favorite of mine.
Anne-Elizabeth Whiteway replied:
Thank you RICHARD. Your kind words about my father's painting mean a lot to me.
Anne-Elizabeth Whiteway
My father did this by copying a picture by Millet in one of his old, tattered art books. Daddy could paint with oils so perfectly, especially landscapes and portraits. Also, as I said before, he liked to copy the work of the Masters from long ago. He just used pictures from books to go by. He did not have any fancy devices, like an enlarger, or anything like that to use. It was just Daddy, the paint, brushes, canvas, picture and the Spirit which led him to do the fine art that he did. He also did many original works. He also liked to paint at the scene (Plein Aire (sp)). Thanks for listening. I miss him and my mother so much...they have both passed on.
Teresa Dominici
Splendid work, your dad is very talented artist.
Anne-Elizabeth Whiteway replied:
Teresa, thank you dearly for your kind compliments!!
Anne-Elizabeth Whiteway
Thank you all for the comments. Dad passed away 6 years ago, and Mom only 2 months later. He was a good artist and always painted with oils.
Stephen Lucas

Joyce Geleynse
WONDERFUL work that your father did!!! I love this paintiing; it's inspiring to know that your Dad could accomplish this at age 85!
Kip DeVore
Beautiful work, and from an original by one of my favorite artists, Millet. A print of "The Gleaners" (and also of "The Angelus", of the field workers stopping to pray, also by Millet) was on the walls when I was in grade school.
Anne-Elizabeth Whiteway
Anneke, My Dad would be so happy to hear you say that. Thank you so much for your sincere comments. YOUR friend, aew
Anneke Hut
Hi Anne, your father did a great job on this marvellous painting. Actually I like his style better, it's more free and bright than Millet's painting.
Anne-Elizabeth Whiteway
Thank you both. He painted until he was in his late 80's. Sometimes I wonder why I did not watch him paint. I could have learned SO much.
