Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

A wonderful landscape accented with a lovely rainbow in the Valley of Fire, Nevada, USA. This incredible scenery is a mere 40 miles away from Las Vegas, Nevada. The area is chock full of interesting rock features. The variety of stone here is awesome. Every color and shape in the book. It is an ideal area for those who like to hike and explore. There are only a very few "official hiking trails" but you can strike off on your own on the sandstone surfaces and keep the damage to a minimum. The area is fragile but with proper care in walking you can avoid doing much damage.
Here I was fortunate to have a rainbow to punctuate the already wonderful landscape.
