A peahen coyly lowers her head as she nests beside her handsome peacock in a digital oil painting on canvas of a scene depicted on a vintage Japanese embroidered silk screen that stands between my dining and living rooms. The screen is gray and warm colors; my painting is more vibrant in turquoise blue, green, cream, yellow and brown. Part of my Kimono Series.
