The Hatter - Millenery - Hatmaking by Gary Heller

The hatter in a 19th century hatters shop working on his next customers hat. A skilled trade that still exists and is highly regarded by many. The " mad hatter" came about when Mercury was used in the processes and the wearer of those hats became "insane" due to the mercury getting absorbed into their skin from wearing the hats often.
