Image of three Spitfires of 222 Squadron with an added background of a Harris Hawk.
The Spitfire image is the same one replicated twice from the original. I then researched 222 squadron and found two more aircraft registrations, which I then changed on the two replicated planes. I added the Harris Hawk image which is a picture of a Harris Hawk on the glove in a zoo against a sunset sky of my own. I also cloned out the glove. The images were all blended together in CS3 using layers and with some help from Nik Color Efex filters. A total of five images were used to create this image.

I have been using digital cameras for a few years as an amateur, but my love of photography began when I was sixteen. I worked in a camera shop and spent some time with a professional photographer. The first camera I used was a Zenit TTL, I have been hooked ever since. I live in Essex, UK, with my wife, three children and three cats. I enjoy exploring my home county, from it's rugged coastline to some spectacular landscapes and unique architecture. It is steeped in history and still has old markets, customs and traditions. My work has been published in Essex Life and various photography magazines as well as providing artwork to help promote some businesses. I am also a stock photographer, contributing to several image sites.
