"The Judgement" a surrealistic perspective of life's burdens, storms and tribulations, and it's many "judgments" we must incur and are labeled with. These who we must prevail against utilize us to their amusement, as we overcome all, given time, the pain which is inflicted upon us by such. As we search for validation and mercy, with the hope of great beauty and tranquility to come.
Please do not be fooled by the edited photo of this painting. The original looks to be at very least from the late possibly late 50's or 60's early 70's. It has some cracks and a few very small spots missing paint that has flaked off. The canvas is yellowed behind the painting and only the words "The Judgement" are handwritten on the back of the canvas. The frame is an older Spanish era, mid weight, dark brown with scalloped edges. Enjoy! It's my very favorite!
