Had some fun with a recent photo by blowing out the highlights in the sky and then tweaking the contrast of original. Sending it to a black and white filter, colorizing it in Photoshop and then treating it with paper and film effects.

Thanks Casey B for directing me to FAA. Spokane WA native. Love the sunsets around here. Interested in photography since jr high. More hands on in the past 5 years. Self taught in Photoshop from Version 3 to CS6. Recently into HDR with both extremes and nuances. Photomatix Pro, HRD Efex Pro, and my new favorite, OnOne Perfect Effects 8. Aircraft are my favorite, with truck dogs, yard dogs and porch cats being very personal subject matter. Currently utilizing a Canon 7D with Tamron 18-200 and Sigma 150-500, while on the lookout for a good wide angle to compliment the package. My tips: keep shooting.
