This surfer was among hundred that were at the beach duing hurrican season in Bradenton, FL. I approached many surfers that were on the beach and talked to them. All of them were proud to be photographed. But only one stood out during the day, this person. His technique was amazing, and he could catch just about any wave that was out there. After spending hours at the beach, taking photos, and then sifting through the hundreds back at home I was able to pick this one out as one of the best.

My mission is to inspire people, artists, and other photographers. I find that the best tool for this mission is my camera. My camera and I can present beauty that gets ignored everyday whether it be the small details in a flower, or making a self conscious person recognize their beauty. It influences people to stop going through the daily motions, slow down, and appreciate every detail around them. Photography has shown me what I believe to be my purpose in life.
