The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

Done in potpourri/collage style, this painting gives you 10 scenes from the Royal Wedding all in one go. I painted this very much mindful of Princess Diana's presence throughout all the hours and days it took to complete. It has been a privilege to paint.
About Pat Barker
Pat Barker grew up in Uganda and Kenya, where the colours, sights and sounds made a lasting impression on her life. She loved drawing and design from a very early age and travelled widely from childhood onwards. In her early twenties she went to live in Denmark and painted porcelain with the Royal Danish. Upon her return to England she worked in the design and architectural drawing of Norwegian Log Chalets. The discipline of both these jobs plus the inspiration and free spirit of Africa merged over the years to yield a versatility of style which can be seen in Pat's work.
