These beautiful illustrations are of modern representations of the Williamsburg Virginia historic district with the colonial reconstructed homes, houses, and merchant shops present during the colonial revolutionary period of our country's history and our Founding Father's activity to help this small band of colonists become an independent nation. The illustrations are a culmination of the artist's exposure for more than five decades of visiting the area, taking thousands of photographs, and using those for creating beautifully rendered illustrations and sketches of the area. Dawn D. Boyer, Ph.D. achieved her Bachelor of Fine Art from Radford University (Radford, VA), in 1985. Since then she has been active in her artwork more as a hobby than as a primary source of income.
