Artist's Description

The Stairs - Original Photogrpahy by Karol Livote Taken at Old Sturbridge Village, Massachussets. Here is some info taken from their official website: The Museum Old Sturbridge Village, the largest outdoor history museum in the Northeast, depicts a rural New England town of the 1830s. You are invited into more than 40 original buildings, including homes, meetinghouses, a district school, country store, bank, working farm, three water-powered mills, and trade shops - all situated on more than 200 scenic acres. Visitors can meet heritage breed farm animals and interact with authentically costumed staff. Our Mission Old Sturbridge Village's purpose is to provide modern Americans with a deepened understanding of their own times through a personal encounter with New England's past. The museum is a nonprofit educational institution. Its collections, exhibits, and programs present the story of everyday life in a small New England town during the years 1790 to 1840.

About Karol Livote

Karol Livote

Inspired by the world around me, I am sent out to capture moments in time, that I hope can find another's soul, the way it has captured mine! Karol Livote My story is quite simple. I was about ten years old when my sister gave me my first camera. I took right to photography. In my high school days, I was hardly seen without a camera in my hand. I participated in Photography classes and had my own darkroom at my home. Over the years, I have kept up with my photography and I continue to promote my images thru publications and sales. My greatest love is nature and all is has to offer, however, there are times I will focus on other subjects, as well. Main Website:
