Nonie Wideman, a self taught watercolor artist born and raised in beautiful British Columbia, resides currently in the northern community of Rose Prairie on a farm with her husband and foster children. Nonie dabbled with art as a teenager prefering pencil drawings and charcoal portraits, but with raising two sons, then an active household of special needs children, shepherding, and working as a Special Needs Educational Assistant, she put her art interests on hold until recently when she decided to slow the pace down and rekindle her artistic persuits.
