He was the young son of Bor, the father of the gods. He was a shapechanger, and usually appeared as a vigorous man of fifty with long hair and braided beard. He wore the skins of animals and carried his unfailing weapon called Gungnir. ARTIST STATEMENT: My goal as a portrait artist has been to show something deeper than just a human or animal likeness but to reveal life, living, and breathing even thinking. To capture life so vivid that you expect the head to turn, eyes to blink or the hand to gesture. History: Art has been my life for as far back as I can remember. I have no formal art education. Immediately after high school (1972) I was offered a job as illustrator and designer with a small studio (ART Enterprise), which I was overjoyed to land.
