Ten years ago my one son told me about this picture in an email he had recieved, and I finially got my idea of it on canvas. This shows plainly what has happened since we have moved God out of our public schools.
As a child my favorite thing to draw was cartoon characters, especially Pop-eye. As I grew older and time passed, my one and only sister married. The man she married was an excellent artist and he started to teach me the basics of drawing and then eventually painting with oils. I was starting to do pretty well and around this time it was discovered that my sister, who had played a large part of my early childhood development, had uterine cancer. This was devastating to the entire family, but I took it pretty hard being the youngest of three boys and our only sister, along with her little daughter, Wendy.
