Artist's Description
Thor's Well is also known as the Devil's Churn. It is a wonderful feature along the Oregon Coast of the USA. Water spills into this giant opening/hole after waves from the Pacific Ocean spew several feet into the air. It is a hair raising place to photograph as you witness giant breakers roaring down on you. I wouldn't recommend attempting this shot to anyone as there is a good deal of risk involved if a "sleeper wave" comes in larger than expected. Keep safety in mind and don't turn your back on the ocean.
