This is an abandoned lunatic asylum, just North of Berlin. Once used by the Nazis, then by the Soviets. It is the second time I have been here, shot many building's I had not shot the 3 years previous. Although most were a very tight squeeze through small holes and very long and narrow tunnels to get access. It was on a February day and the temp was -14°c, my drink of orange was frozen solid. All was well worth it in the end.
.I'm an English man living in Berlin, I have been here for many years now. I'm a very keen Urbexer (Urban Exploration) I have done this kind of thing for since I was a child, going in to old abandoned houses and even a fort. When I got to Berlin I started Urbexing almost right away, but this time taking my camera with. I shoot and create an images that gives the feeling I get when there. I'm also a portrait photographer and digital artist. With my own studio and gallery here in Berlin.
