Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. "Through the Hole in the Trees" is an original watercolor, 11" X 14" on Kilimanjaro 300-pound cold press paper, using American Journey and Davinci paints. The painting explores the hills, trees and back roads which comprise the beautiful Texas Hill Country where I live. The distant view through the trees promises more inviting opportunities and experiences ahead!

Virgil Carter, BWS, PWS, PWCS, TWS, is a watercolor painter, teacher, demonstrator, workshop leader, author and Internet commentator. He paints primarily in watercolor, both en plein aire and from his studio in Boerne, TX.
