Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

This is another of my favourite types of Mardi Gras shots. For me, one of the more iconic Mardi Gras images is the sight of a mass throng of revelers waving manically for this coveted, cheap plastic beads. The sight of all of those arms waving in the air seems almost tribal at times and, for me, definitely contributes to the energy and atmosphere of Mardi Gras. However, I think there is a right and wrong way to take such shots. My preferred method was to get right in the thick of the action, on the street mixing it with the parades and the kerb side “ladder people” - NOLA people will know what that means! This means that I can take a shot looking right along the street towards the chaos. I much prefer this over a more oblique line of sight. The second factor in getting this shot is to use a long zoom or telephoto lens. This has the effect of compressing the scene, greatly improving the impact of such a shot.
