About Jill Van Doren Rolo
Traveling down the far and less traveled back roads of Kansas, is primarily where you find me. As a native Kansan, I grew up wandering upon our prairies, both on horseback and on foot. Many of those times I was fortunate to be with my own father, who taught me the rich Kansas history, and the delicate life of the prairies. Though I moved away from Kansas for several years, the longing for the Kansas skies, countryside, and farming communities, called me back home. As was in my youth, I still wander upon the silence of the prairie, but now with camera in my pack and tripod resting upon my shoulder. Through the lens of the camera, my quest is to share that same beauty with all.
