Blind in the right eye and with a broken right fang this old
tiger struggles for survival. His fur and the leaves of the plant life around him blend into the jungle, mottled with the light of Sun or Moon. As the tiger ages the need for cover becomes ever more critical not only as a place of refuge, but also as a launching pad for a camouflaged attack. But the unrelenting
encroachment of civilization makes the tigers survival more and more precarious. Soon the tiger will disappear into the jungle, to be seen no more in the wild.

Ken Church Wildlife Artist Ken Church is full time professional artist from York, England. Primarily interested in large canvas acrylic paintings of wildlife and nature. Essentially realistic his paintings are in a modern style of bold brush strokes, bright colors and luminous patterns of light.
