Artist's Description
Cornwall in south west England was home to one of Europe's largest mining industries in the 19th century; tin was a very important mineral. The remains of mine workings dot the countryside, such as here on Bodmin Moor. This building on Caradon Hill near Minions was the Bellingham Shaft engine house, part of the Wheal Jenkin Mine.

Nice capture, James. What caught my eye immediately were the ruins which look like they are in protest of what they have become. Congrats on your First Place contest win. Please feel free to join the Contest Winners First Place on FineArtAmerica Group, if you haven't already, and upload this image to the group. Ties are considered wins in the group.
