About Cee Heard
I have worked as a Registered Nurse for 25 years. While I worked I earned a Master's Degree in Community Health Administration. I have always drawn and practiced ART in the margins of my studies and work. I spent time at the Jersey Shore and started sketching the people on the beach. Then I took a few classes at Samuel Fleischer Art Memorial in Philadelphia. Next I sold copies of some original Philadelphia cityscapes on the street at First Friday in the Old City section of Philadelphia after seeing artists in New York do the same. I have been commissioned by locals and coworkers to paint familiar and personal places. In 2012 I collaborated with two coworkers and authors and illustrated a book titled Mindful Eating. I have...
