The artwork is beautiful. I think it would be excellent on a canvas. I have been considering a second order. I am in awe of the artist.

More Than Just Photography We are accustomed to viewing photography in terms of the relationship of light, composition and subject matter. When creating digital art,I changes the relevance of these elements either via the elaboration, distortion, elimination or combination of the existing shapes, colors, or subject matter in the original photo.I further add vibrancy or mutation of the existing colors through the addition of new colors, or tones, shades and hues. Thus changing the elements and therefore, the perception of the initial photo which I considers my blank palette or jumping off point if you will. A well known photographer and writer, Freeman Patterson, once wrote "We think with three kinds of images - the kind we observe...

Unsettling and unusual peace, blurring the line between abstraction and figuration!

I think I want to like this, but I am confused by it, too. I can see the face and the tears. But what is natural and what is carved, if anything? What is this material if it is natural. It is wonderful to contemplate and just so fascinating and yet unsatisfying in that I almost can not stand knowing more about what exactly this is. I guess I will just have to use my Imagination. A good one for the category, for sure!

Hi Aron, Thanks for the detailed comment- means you have really been thinking about it which is what abstract is supposed to do -' IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER ' if you will. This WAS A MARBLE BUST OF AN INDIAN, I dropped it and it sdhaTTERED SO IT IS TRULY ONE OF A KIND. The face was carved an I added the swerlls via the liquefy brush following the pattern of the marble, and added the tears. hope you enjoyed it and appreciate the emotion I tried to protraey. Thanks again for paying attention to detail and for the comment.
