I don't know what kind of snake this is. I couldn't see it's face. It was in a tree overhanging a large pond. It seemed to be asleep. I believe that it might have just eaten a meal, crawled up into the tree and gone to sleep as it digested it's food. It was surrounded by a large variety of nesting waterbirds. Somehow, I suspect that it might have raided a nest. Does anyone have any idea what kind of snake this is? It is quite large.

I’ve lived in various areas in the states and in Europe but always had the desire to express through painting and photography.
