A trout Stream in may is a magical place one of natures perfect balance of predator, pray the cycle of life and renewal.
I first did this drawing in 1981 in graphite and it has been damaged over the years so I decided to redo it in color pencil. You can follow the whole process step by step in my gallery called works in progress.

Gerry,I'm always too impatient for your new works which I know take hours and days of time,as do mine,so I' m visiting this wonderful work for the third time. And still in love with the detail,color,movement and naturalness of your trout stream.You are an adept with those colored pencils.No doubt about it. All fish lovers should have this painting on their wish list but it would be better if they stopped procrastinating and ordered this beauty immediately! L/F
