About Acrylic Prints
Mounting Option #1
Mounting Option #2
Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print. Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.
The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!
All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).
The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.
There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.
Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts. The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall. When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done. The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1". All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print. Click here for mounting details.
Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back. There are no metal mounting posts at the corners. Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done. Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50" Click here for mounting details.

Artist's Description
This plein air oil painting was done not far from my home in Southern Utah. You really don't have to go far to find a great spot to paint around here. I named it Tucked Away because it was just tucked around the bend on a dirt road next to the river. There were actually cows roaming around on the other side of the river but I decided to leave them out at the end. I felt like adding cows would have too much going on in the painting to be pleasing. This was done in early March and you can still see snow on the mountains in the distance. The red rocks in the distance are what people think of when they think of Southern Utah. What was supposed to be a nice sunny day turned cloudy faster than anticipated. It started to get a little chilly and I think the color palette reflects the cool air and late winter. I hope to go back later in the spring once leaves are on the trees. This was my very first plein air oil painting, I hope you like! Thank you so much for looking at my site. An...
About Kathy Stiber
Thank you so much for looking at my site. An artist's drawing or painting is part of their soul. I hope that you feel something when you look at my artwork. I want it to speak to you; to move you! My paintings are done in a very loose, abstract, and impressionistic style. I am not giving you every detail. When you look at my artwork, your eyes will automatically fill in the details bringing you back to a place or feeling that you've had before. I have always loved loose, abstract, or impressionistic artwork for the romantic feel of it. I want to keep looking as I receive flashes of nostalgia, and that's what I hope you feel when you look at my work. Please comment and let me know what you like. You can also visit my...

I read all of your description after reading Ken's wonderful comments, but after I took another look at the painting, I still get a warm feeling with all the gold tones. I suppose it will always be that way with any art form, we all have our own view of things and it will touch each person is a different way.. Your work here is amazing to me and I love it!! Even is someone doesn't like your work, don't be discouraged, as I always tell my granddaughters, you are the artist and if you are happy with it, that is all that really matters. :D Now I well quit rambling! :D
Kathy Stiber replied:
Debbie, thank you so much for your kind words and support! Means a lot to me. It's so nice to hear what people think of my work. I enjoy painting and it's always nice when someone enjoys it also.

You have so capture the chill in the air. Brrrrr, it's making me cold. I'm turning up my heater up. I do so much love your painting Kathy. But I can't wait till the leaves are on trees and spring is in the air so I can feel warm once again. Mayby not for a Southern Utah style painting but I feel cows give a sense of calmness and peace to a painting. But your right Kathy, no need to have cows in every painting. As you know I love painting cows. And your right that if I would put on my paintings titled Heart Tree or Hope it jest wouldn't have worked as well. Or say one of my beach painting. Oh I still love cows though. I not only love this painting but I really love your words that go with it Kathy. You have done an excellent job of capturing the winter tones and colors. Maybe too good. Brrrr. Yes spring time is going to be real nice. Plein air oil painting it oh so fun to do and I encourage you to do it as much as you can. Is like being inside your painting. You smell what your painting and not so much the paint. Well it might not be good at that time to be painting cows. Though the oil paint might mask some of the cow's aroma. About now you are think to your self you might should of left out the part about the cows in your Description. But that's all right Kathy because I love talking about cow. And oh and don't me started on chickens. It's been fun talking at you Kathy and enjoying your artwork. Vote
Kathy Stiber replied:
I've loved listening to you talk at me Ken!! You crack me up. I feel like I should go paint a cow for some reason now........
