My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Artist's Description
When I photographed this little beauty recently, it was on a lovely, early spring evening. The sun was heading west, and the golden light against the warm yellow stucco of the building that the tulips were planted against, was glorious. Deciding to dude this image up, one of the questions in my mind was the background. Should I leave it as it was? There were a number of stalks and leaves going this way and that ... looked a bit untidy and I thought they distracted from the flower ... or should I play a little. My final decision was to use a beautiful background from Karen Bonaker, the colors of which were very similar to the colors on the original wall. I played with the background a bit / painted it up ... but left the flower itself in basically a photographic state. I didn't have the heart to mess with all that glorious detail.
At least ... not yet.

About Lois Bryan
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a glitch in our system. The images in...
