Jerry Carpenter, born in West Virginia, educated at Berea College in Kentucky and Catholic University of America, moved from Washington, DC, to California in 2000. Working as an Information Technology professional is a stressful job; thus, in an effort to find peace he began painting watercolors years ago under the tutelage of Ms. Bobbie Dixon as part of the Santa Clara Adult Education Program and since then studied with other prominent artist. He began drawing and painting as a child, especially architecture. The medium of choice was Acrylics during his high school and college years.
