There's just something about old abandoned farm houses that captures my attention. I imagine the lives that were lived there, the happy memories someone far away is telling about their childhood there.

Perhaps it's a case of putting on the rose-tinted glasses, but that's what crossed my mind when I gazed up onto this hill in rural Pulaski County somewhere near Hawkinsville, Georgia. The old farmstead sat on a gentle hill with summer clouds billowing behind it, and I could almost see the memories that lived on that hill.

Life is full of happy surprises. After just over a decade working in the 9 to 5 cube world, I threw caution to the wind to follow my dreams of being a full time visual artist.
