As an artist I have used photography, watercolor, encaustic, and now generative design as my medium. I think the last is here to stay. Generative art, or algorithmic art occurs as does any other artistic creation: you have an idea, you think about how you want to "make" it, and then you create it. With algorithmic art you use a computer language instead of a brush. In my case, I use the Processing language.
